Have you ever paid someone to
If so, you might be a candidate for our “College Financial Aid Form Preparation” Service. Why?, well, let's face it, those 6 tasks listed above are all examples of tasks that we are completely capable of doing ourselves ~ but we outsource them to others for the sake of convenience (mowing the grass, changing the oil, cleaning the house, etc.), or expertise (taxes, hair cut, etc.). Along those same lines, why not consider outsourcing the preparation of all of your applications for college financial aid?
We do it quickly, we do it accurately, and we do it timely. Did you know that these forms should be prepared and submitted the first week of January? Most people submit them 4 months late (around April instead of January), and with errors all over them ~ which creates further delays, and compromises their ability for potential financial aid eligibility. Listen, college is way past the point of being "affordable," and every mistake you make in the financial aid process could cost you money.
You don't take chances cutting your own hair, can you afford to take a chance here?
See the Enrollment page for packaging details that might save you money.
This service includes the preparation of all financial aid forms to include: the Free Application for Federal Student Aid* (FAFSA), the CSS Profile (if required), and all Institutional Forms (designed by the college itself).
The goal is to have each of these financial aid forms prepared and submitted by January 10 of the student’s senior year in high school. Because we are preparing these forms well in advance of any tax return, a degree of transparency is required by the parent to help us file in such an early manner.
Preparing the forms early gets you in the line first. All financial aid is awarded on a first come first serve basis, so having these forms submitted early, and accurately is a significant advantage
* Many administrators believe that you should not have to pay someone to prepare the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form (because of the word, “Free” that appears in the form’s name). This is a naive’ understanding of the nature of the form. By “Free” the Department of Education is communicating that the there is no charge to file the form with them. It does not mean that it should be prepared by a third party free of charge. By way of contrast to the Department of Education’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid, CSS charges the modest $9 fee to process their CSS Profile, plus $16 for every school you send the CSS Profile to.
